DeAngela's Wedding Cake

DeAngela's wedding took place at Winston Trails Country Club in Lake Worth. Her 3 tiered square cake consisted of several flavors. The bottom tier was yellow cake with strawberry filling, the middle tier was yellow cake with chocolate ganache filling and the top tier was yellow cake with vanilla buttercream filling. All 3 tiers were covered with a layer of vanilla buttercream and then white fondant brushed with pearl luster dust. The gold scrolls were handmade out of sugarpaste painted with an edible gold paint. There were styrofoam risers in between the tiers to create more height. The risers were covered in gold fondant. The flowers on top were fresh calla lillies and orchids. The beautiful square silver cake stand was rented from Lise's Bakery.

Sand Dollar Wedding Cookie Favor

This is one of Holly's wedding cookie favors. She also gave out the flip flop cookie. Half of her guests received the sand dollar and half of her guests received the flip flop cookie which were both perfect for her beach wedding at the Singer Island Hilton.

Welcome Andrea!

Welcome Andrea Houren - my new assistant. Andrea's background is in nursing, but she also has a passion for baking and cake decorating. She has taken Wilton Cake Decorating classes and has made some beautiful cakes and cookies for her friends and family. She has recently started helping me and assisted me on my most recent project - a wedding cake (shown here) and some adorable wedding cookie favors. We made the cutest little flip flop cookies (photo below) and also sand dollar cookies (photo to come).
Thank you, Andrea, for all of your help! I'm looking forward to working on more fun projects in the very near future!
